Thank you for visiting our page and for always supporting us.

After four Regular Sessions and one Special Session serving the citizens of Troup, Harris, Meriwether, and Muscogee counties in the Georgia State Senate, I am excited to report that District 29 continues to experience strong revenue growth while also building robust reserves thanks to conservative leadership in the State Senate, House of Representatives, and the Governor’s Office. The way we addressed the COVID 19 pandemic has make Georgia the strongest and best prepared large state in these United States.

I am honored to continue my mission on keeping Senate District 29 as one of the strongest Districts in the State.

During my time serving you in the Georgia State Senate, I have led the fight in preventing the de-funding of law enforcement, keeping violent criminals from being released without strong safeguards in place, and passing legislation that places tougher sentences on those who commit sex crimes against women and children.

I have stood steadfast in my support of the unborn while promoting better healthcare and obtaining funding to offer prenatal services and post-delivery to young and poor mothers in some of the poorest parts of District 29.

Since being elected I have continuously promoted opportunities for economic development and job creation throughout District 29. One single piece of legislation that I authored brought over $50 million in economic development to our community. We have also experienced extraordinary job growth with new businesses relocating to District 29 and adding 1000s of new job opportunities for the citizens and students who live here.

I also carried legislation that will help many of our children avoid foster care and remain in loving homes so that they can work and become productive and happy citizens here in the peach state. I have also championed causes that leave the choices of education in the hands of loving parents so that our children and grandchildren are not indoctrinated by systems that attempt to disassemble the values and character that exists in each of our unique nuclear families.

We continue to keep District 29 at the forefront in transportation systems by supporting legislation that keeps our roads, highways, and bridges safe while also ensuring that the Georgia Department of Public Safety has the necessary resources keep Georgia families safe as they travel the Peach State.

We brought your tax dollars back our community and established a Mercer Medical College campus in Columbus and a Mercer Medical Clinic in Hamilton.

I currently serve as Chair of the State Employee Retirement Committee, Sub-Committee Chair on Ethics and Public Safety, a committee member on Insurance, State and Local Government, and Government Oversight. I am the Senate Chair of the Georgia High School Association Oversight Committee, and member on boards including those impacting technical school education within District 29.

Friend, our momentum is strong, and we want to continue to build on what we have accomplished so far.
